I already love that about you. As your Oregon based elopement photographer I'll be here to guide you every step of the process.
With so many decisions, it can be hard to know where to start.
That's where I come in! I'm here not only to photograph your day, but to help you shape an experience that feels thoughtful, calm, and aligned with you. From big picture ideas to the smaller details, I help take the pressure off so you can focus on being present and enjoying your Oregon elopement from start to finish.
Choosing who documents your Oregon elopement is about more than photography, it’s about trusting someone who knows the reigion. Since 2019, I’ve photographed elopements across Oregon, from forest trails and alpine views to the rugged coast.
I offer more than photos, supporting you with location scouting, timelines, and logistics while being a calm, steady presence throughout the day. With deep local knowledge of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, I help couples create an elopement experience that feels intentional, grounded, and true to them.
In Oregon, weddings don’t have to follow a set of rules. They’re about celebrating your love in a way that feels honest and intentional. Whether it’s a quiet elopement just the two of you or a small gathering with your closest people, your wedding should reflect what matters most to you.
"I can’t say enough good things about Lauren. Truly, BOOK HER. She’s incredibly kind, so easy to work with, and her photos are absolutely amazing.
She’s so skilled with elopements and knew exactly how to guide us through the process. We brainstormed together, and she helped shape our day into something genuinely perfect."
The Columbia River Gorge is an ideal choice for couples drawn to cascading waterfalls, lush greenery, and expansive canyon views. This area is packed with dramatic scenery, from hidden falls tucked into the forest to wide open viewpoints overlooking the river, with Mount Hood nearby adding even more variety. One of the reasons couples love eloping here is how flexible it is. There are plenty of easily accessible locations as well as more secluded hike in options, making it easy to shape your day around your comfort level and vision.
The Northern Oregon Coast offers an incredible mix of landscapes within a short stretch of shoreline. You will find sweeping sandy beaches, rugged headlands, coastal forests, and tucked away coves all within close proximity. Locations like Ecola State Park and Hug Point create a dramatic yet intimate setting, whether you are standing atop a cliff or near the water’s edge. This region is especially magical for couples who love moody coastal weather, fog rolling in off the ocean, or soft light at sunset. Because the coastline is public land, permits are not required for elopements here.
If you are looking for bold coastal scenery with fewer people around, the Southern Oregon Coast is a standout option. This region is known for its striking sea stacks, rugged cliffs, and unique geological features, particularly throughout the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor. From natural rock bridges to hidden beaches and quiet overlooks, the scenery here feels wild and untouched. It is a great fit for couples who want a dramatic coastal backdrop while still keeping their elopement intimate and unrushed. Like the rest of the Oregon Coast, no permits are required to elope in this area.
Mount Hood is a beautiful option for couples who want a classic Oregon mountain backdrop without venturing too far from Portland. The area offers a mix of alpine scenery, evergreen forests, and sweeping views of the surrounding peaks. From open meadows and lakes to quiet forested trails, there are plenty of settings that feel both scenic and secluded. Mount Hood works especially well for couples who want a mountain elopement with relatively easy access and a wide range of locations that can be tailored to the season, comfort level, and overall feel of their day.

We're awkward in front of the camera, can you help us feel natural?
Absolutely! Most people feel that way! I’ll guide you in a way that feels relaxed and easy so you can just focus on being with each other, not the camera.
