Photo coverage of your day
Through out the day I'll just be hanging out with you two, at times being a fly on the wall capturing candids, and every once in a while collaborating with you two to document some beautiful photos.
Location & permit assistance
Most eloping couple that I work with have a certain region they're wanting to exchange their vows, but they haven't pinpointed a specific spot yet. After chatting about your vision and ideas for your location, I'll send you a list of locations that best fit what you are looking for.
Personally crafted timeline
Once you have decided on how you would like to spend your elopement day, I'm happy to lend my expertise in crafting a custom timeline. Whether you're trying to figure out the best way to fit everything in, or you're wondering when lighting will be best at a certain location, I'm happy to help!
professionally edited digital photos
Once I have finished editing your elopement photos, they will be delivered to you in a user-friendly online gallery. From here you can download your gallery, order prints, or share the gallery with friends and family.
Planning Calls
Planning calls aren't a requirement, but I highly recommend them to couples that book with me. Being able to schedule a Zoom or phone call takes a lot of the back and forth out of the planning process.

"We had such a wonderful experience working with Lauren for our adventure elopement! She has such an easy going personality and energy that made us feel comfortable and relaxed behind the camera. W were looking for someone who would also be up for a bit of a hike and she was stoked to be a part of it. Not to mention the pictures are beautiful! We just moved from the PNW and will forever treasure the moments she was able to capture for us on the coast. There are countless photographers out there, we are so glad we found Lauren."

From your first consult call with me to the day of your wedding, I am here as a resource to help you brainstorm ideas, research permits, offer custom location recommendations and offer my expertise with any other details or questions that arise.
A huge reason that couples decide to elope (myself included, for my own wedding day) is because they feel overwhelmed and stressed by all of the "traditional wedding" expectations. Elopements are wonderful because it takes a lot of that stress away, but they do still require some planning. I am here as a resource to help the day leading up to your elopement as stress free as possible, if you need guidance I am here as your resource!
I also offer a complimentary 90 Page Elopement Guide to all couples that book with me. This is an amazing resource that I have spent countless hours crafting for couples that are in the beginning stages of planning their elopement day.

For the couple eloping 100 miles outside of Portland, OR. Perfect for Northern Washington, Southern Oregon, California and beyond! Let's create a personalized timeline for your day, full of activities you love to do! I'll be here to guide you every step of the way.
If you're dreaming of eloping amidst breathtaking waterfalls, lush green forests, and dramatic cliffs, the Columbia River Gorge is the perfect spot to consider for your wedding day! This iconic Pacific Northwest location is home to famous waterfalls such as Multnomah Falls and Latourell Falls, as well as stunning overlooks such as Rowena Crest and Government Cove. Mount Hood is also a short drive away! Popular for elopements year-round, the Columbia River Gorge features a variety of easy-to-access as well as hike-in locations that suit any vision. Another perk about The Gorge is that there are no permits required!
One of my favorite things about the northern Oregon Coast is it's diverse landscape. This region offers everything from sand dune covered beaches, to rocky cliff sides, to dense old growth forests. Picture yourself standing on iconic cliffs like those at Ecola State Park, or exchanging your vows with a waterfall and the ocean as your backdrop at Hug Point! Whether you're dreaming of a moody foggy morning or a golden hour glow, the Northern Oregon Coast is a coastal treasure perfect for your big day. Since the coast is public land this also means that there are no permits required to elope here!
The Southern Oregon Coast delivers some of the most jaw-dropping coastal scenery, this region is also less crowded during the summer months compared to the northern region of the Oregon Coast. With rugged sea cliffs and incredible rock formations like those found at Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, this stretch of coastline is perfect for a truly unique elopement. From the towering cliffs at Natural Bridges to the secluded coves at Secret Beach, the Southern Oregon Coast provides endless options for stunning ceremony backdrops. Perfect for couples who want a dramatic yet intimate seaside setting. Since the coast is public land this also means that there are no permits required to elope here!
For couples who crave a majestic mountain elopement, Mount Rainier is a top-tier choice. With its towering glacier-capped peak, vibrant wildflower meadows, and sweeping alpine vistas, this national park offers some of the most stunning scenery in the Pacific Northwest. Locations like Paradise and Sunrise provide incredible views and romantic settings for your ceremony, while the surrounding trails lead to secluded spots for more adventurous couples. During peak season the park can get quite busy, but there are definitely times that offer more privacy. You will need to obtain a special use permit to exchange your vows here, which I'm happy to guide you through these steps!
This is one of my all time favorite areas! The Olympic Peninsula is a dream destination for couples who want a diverse and unforgettable elopement experience. Home to lush temperate rainforests like the enchanting Hoh Rainforest, pristine alpine lakes like Lake Crescent, and wild, windswept beaches such as Ruby Beach. Couples who elope here can immerse themselves in jaw-dropping landscapes and enjoy quiet, secluded moments away from the crowds. Whether you’re drawn to moss-covered trees or the sound of the waves crashing on a rocky shoreline, the Olympic Peninsula provides a truly magical atmosphere for your vows.
My husband Bryan and I eloped!
We decided to ditch the “traditional wedding” and exchanged our vows on the side of a mountain in one of our favorite Pacific Northwest wilderness areas. This is one of the reasons that I have a soft spot for photographing elopements. Other reasons include my love for the outdoors, hiking, trip planning, and meeting other outdoor enthusiasts.
Let's do our part to protect & preserve these special places for future generations to enjoy.
Still unsure and would like to see some more of my work? Feel free to browse through my portfolio to see a collection of images from various weddings and elopements that I've photographed through out the Pacific Northwest.
