"I can’t say enough good things about Lauren — truly, BOOK HER. She’s incredibly kind, so easy to work with, and her photos are absolutely amazing.
She’s so skilled with elopements and knew exactly how to guide me through the process. We brainstormed together, and she helped shape my day into something genuinely perfect.
During our elopement she was on it. She knew every angle, every pose, and exactly how to position me — which is saying a lot because I’m awkward and she made it feel effortless. She even helped direct my friends and family so all of the individual shots went smoothly.
And honestly, working with Lauren is just such a joy. There are so many stressful parts of a wedding, but she brought this fun, calming, warm energy to the day. She’s talented, thoughtful, and has the best personality. I’m so grateful I chose her.

From your first consult call with me to the day of your wedding, I am here as a resource to help you brainstorm ideas, research permits, offer custom location recommendations and offer my expertise with any other details or questions that arise.
A huge reason that couples decide to elope (myself included, for my own wedding day) is because they feel overwhelmed and stressed by all of the "traditional wedding" expectations. Elopements are wonderful because it takes a lot of that stress away, but they do still require some planning. I am here as a resource to help the day leading up to your elopement as stress free as possible, if you need guidance I am here as your resource!
I also offer a complimentary 90 Page Elopement Guide to all couples that book with me. This is an amazing resource that I have spent countless hours crafting for couples that are in the beginning stages of planning their elopement day.
My partner and I eloped with our two dogs at Mt. Hood National Forest, and Lauren was absolutely incredible! From the start, she was so personable, warm, and easy to connect with and she went above and beyond to help us figure out what we wanted our day to look like. She helped us figure out our vision, guided us through planning with helpful Zoom meetings, and even scoped out photo spots ahead of time, sending videos so we could see everything in advance.
On the day of, Lauren kept us on track, reminded us to breathe and enjoy the moment, and captured amazing photos of us and our dogs. We’re not usually fans of having our pictures taken, but she made it feel so natural and easy and it was like having another friend there supporting us.
Her communication was great, her ability to help make sure we had everything figured out before the day was truly impressive, her vendor recommendations were spot-on, and the photo turnaround was super quick. We had sneak peaks within a week and our full set of pictures about a month after our special day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or more beautiful photos to remember our day. We are truly grateful for all of her time and effort. Highly recommend!"

For the couple eloping 100 miles outside of Portland, OR. Perfect for Northern Washington, Southern Oregon, California and beyond! Let's create a personalized timeline for your day, full of activities you love to do! I'll be here to guide you every step of the way.
If you're dreaming of eloping amidst breathtaking waterfalls, lush green forests, and dramatic cliffs, the Columbia River Gorge is the perfect spot to consider for your wedding day! This iconic Pacific Northwest location is home to famous waterfalls such as Multnomah Falls and Latourell Falls, as well as stunning overlooks such as Rowena Crest and Government Cove. Mount Hood is also a short drive away! Popular for elopements year-round, the Columbia River Gorge features a variety of easy-to-access as well as hike-in locations that suit any vision. Another perk about The Gorge is that there are no permits required!
One of my favorite things about the northern Oregon Coast is it's diverse landscape. This region offers everything from sand dune covered beaches, to rocky cliff sides, to dense old growth forests. Picture yourself standing on iconic cliffs like those at Ecola State Park, or exchanging your vows with a waterfall and the ocean as your backdrop at Hug Point! Whether you're dreaming of a moody foggy morning or a golden hour glow, the Northern Oregon Coast is a coastal treasure perfect for your big day. Since the coast is public land this also means that there are no permits required to elope here!
The Southern Oregon Coast delivers some of the most jaw-dropping coastal scenery, this region is also less crowded during the summer months compared to the northern region of the Oregon Coast. With rugged sea cliffs and incredible rock formations like those found at Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, this stretch of coastline is perfect for a truly unique elopement. From the towering cliffs at Natural Bridges to the secluded coves at Secret Beach, the Southern Oregon Coast provides endless options for stunning ceremony backdrops. Perfect for couples who want a dramatic yet intimate seaside setting. Since the coast is public land this also means that there are no permits required to elope here!
For couples who crave a majestic mountain elopement, Mount Rainier is a top-tier choice. With its towering glacier-capped peak, vibrant wildflower meadows, and sweeping alpine vistas, this national park offers some of the most stunning scenery in the Pacific Northwest. Locations like Paradise and Sunrise provide incredible views and romantic settings for your ceremony, while the surrounding trails lead to secluded spots for more adventurous couples. During peak season the park can get quite busy, but there are definitely times that offer more privacy. You will need to obtain a special use permit to exchange your vows here, which I'm happy to guide you through these steps!
This is one of my all time favorite areas! The Olympic Peninsula is a dream destination for couples who want a diverse and unforgettable elopement experience. Home to lush temperate rainforests like the enchanting Hoh Rainforest, pristine alpine lakes like Lake Crescent, and wild, windswept beaches such as Ruby Beach. Couples who elope here can immerse themselves in jaw-dropping landscapes and enjoy quiet, secluded moments away from the crowds. Whether you’re drawn to moss-covered trees or the sound of the waves crashing on a rocky shoreline, the Olympic Peninsula provides a truly magical atmosphere for your vows.
My husband Bryan and I eloped!
We decided to ditch the “traditional wedding” and exchanged our vows on the side of a mountain in one of our favorite Pacific Northwest wilderness areas. This is one of the reasons that I have a soft spot for photographing elopements. Other reasons include my love for the outdoors, hiking, trip planning, and meeting other outdoor enthusiasts.
"We are so glad we chose Lauren to be our photographer!! She made the day easy, fun, and made us feel comfortable the whole way through.
We had never had professional photos taken of us before and were nervous about looking stiff but she knew just how to help us relax and be ourselves. Not to mention, the photos were spectacular! She even helped us pick the perfect spot and timeline.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you Lauren!"
Let's do our part to protect & preserve these special places for future generations to enjoy.
