I've been enjoying photography ever since I was gifted my first digital camera back in 2004! When I'm not out taking photos, I enjoy:
I try to fit a handful of backpacking trips into my calendar each year. This last summer, in 2024, some of my favorites were the 210 mile John Muir Trial in the Sierra Nevada, The 42 mile Timberline Trail that circumnavigates Mt. Hood, and a 40 mile section of the PCT that included Eagle Creek and Chinidere Mtn.
I enjoy working a couple days a week seasonally or will even do an ocational "work share" with local organic farms. Meaning I'll come out and lend a hand for the day in exchange for tasty produce. It might sound weird, but I love working hard and getting dirty!
Whether it’s a weekend road trip, a couple weeks abroad, or helping a couple plan out their dream elopement, I LOVE planning trips. My go-to is to use good old paper maps of the area and I'll place tiny sticky notes on possible stops along my route. I also have loads of books and go-to online resources I use frequently.

My husband Bryan and I eloped! We decided to ditch the “traditional wedding” and exchanged our vows on the side of a mountain in one of our favorite Pacific Northwest wilderness areas. This is one of the reasons that I have a soft spot for photographing elopements. Other reasons include my love for the outdoors, hiking, trip planning, and meeting other outdoor enthusiasts.
