- BHLDN Anthropologie’s bridal collection.
- True Society Bridal shop in Portland, OR. Huge selection and a wide range of styles!
- Lulus Simple and budget friendly dresses.
- Adorned in Grace A mix of donated and brand new dresses. If you’re on a budget, I highly suggest checking out one of their locations in Portland, OR! This is actually where I got my own dress for my elopement.
Brand and Shop Recommendations: Suit, Tux, + Formal Wear:
- Indochino Wide range of styles, colors and patterns.
- Hall Madden If you’re wanting a custom suit. Based in Portland, OR.
Caterers & Private Chefs
Whether you want a full meal for an intimate reception or a private chef to prepare a special post-elopement dinner, these options cater to small and large weddings alike.
- Devils Food Catering High quality and delicious! They also make custom menus based on the type of food you’re wanting and what ingredients are in season.
- Tamale Boy I always get excited when a wedding couple pick Tamale Boy to cater their wedding. Their tamale and taco bar options are incredible! Plus it’s nice that guests can pick and choose from a variety of meat, veggie, and topping options.
- Maruti If you love Indian Food as much as me, you’ll love Maruti! This is actually one of my favorite go-to local restaurants as well. Two of my favorite dishes (which are also options for catering) is the Vegan Tikka Masala and the Biryani with Paneer. The owner is wonderful as well and tries to source as many local and organic ingredients as possible.
- Desi PDX Another go-to Indian restaurant of mine. The flavors of their dishes are outstanding. Food is on-par with Maruti (listed above) but they have possibly more options for catered dishes.
- KCK Pizza Truck Are you thinking about having wood fired pizza on your wedding day? KCK Pizza Truck will bring their brick oven to your wedding venue! The pizzas I’ve had from them are fantastic and features lots of locally sourced ingredients. Think of it as “gourmet pizza”.
- Pizza Thief Sourdough pizza with locally sourced ingredients. Based in Portland and will deliver to your venue.
- Aybla Grill If Greek food is your jam, Aybla Grill offers delicious options! You can pick between having them cater your wedding, or have their food cart come to your venue.
Bakeries & Dessert Vendors
From traditional wedding cakes to adventure-friendly desserts, these vendors offer great options for weddings and elopements alike.

Favorite Venues Near PDX
If you’re looking for a cozy place to stay or a scenic venue that fits your wedding vision, these locations are worth considering.
In the Columbia River Gorge:
- Griffin House (Hood River, OR) (max of 175 guests)The views here overlooking the Columbia River Gorge are absolutely stunning! If you’re considering getting married in The Gorge, I highly recommend adding this to your list of venues to check out.
- Mt. Hood Organic Farms (Mt. Hood, OR) (max of 200 guests) If you’re looking for a venue that has an unbeatable view of Mt. Hood, look no further than Mt. Hood Organic Farms! Something else that is special about this venue is that they have wildflowers that bloom on the property for most of spring and summer time.
- Wind Mountain Ranch (Stevenson, WA) (max of 200 guests) Something I love about Wind Mountain Ranch is that it feels secluded and has some beautiful views of the gorge. They also have multiple locations on their property that would be the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony.
- The Orchard (Hood River, OR) A stunning and elegant venue with views of Mount Hood and Mount Adams. They also offer farm to table food options!
- The Ruins (Hood River, OR) (max of 220 guests) A unique and beautiful venue! The Ruins is what remains of a one hundred year old fruit cannery. This space is truly unique and there isn’t anything else like it in the area.
- Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa (Hood River, OR) A stunning historic building that features seven acres of gardens, ponds, bridges and even a 208′ water fall!
Smaller and more intimate venues:
- Hoyt Arboretum Redwood Deck (Portland, OR) (max of 40 guests standing, or 25 sitting) Hoyt Arboretum has four different outdoor spaces to choose from, my personal favorite is the Redwood Deck. It’s an intimate space that is surrounded by towering Redwood Trees. Though this spot is so close in proximity to Portland, it doesn’t feel like you’re only 5 minutes from downtown.
- Block House (Portland, OR) (max of 60 guests) A beautiful space and the perfect choice if you’re wanting to be surrounded by plants in a greenhouse setting. If you’re getting married in the shoulder months or off season, being in a greenhouse is a great alternative to other indoor venues.
- The Woodlands House (Sandy, OR) A modern cabin that’s nestled in dense old growth forest. It features a beautiful large outdoor deck, a small greenhouse, and outdoor spaces among the trees to have a ceremony and reception.
Unique venues:
- Villa Catalana Cellars (Oregon City, OR) I absolutely love this venue! When I’m here I feel like I have been transported straight to Italy. Their winery features a 12th century inspired stone house, as well as gardens, ponds and a greenhouse.
- The Ruins (Astoria, OR) One of the most unique venues on the Oregon coast, The Ruins does not disappoint. Built in 1924, this building was once known as the Astoria Hotel. It’s also right in downtown Astoria, so you and your guests will have access to plenty of nearby accommodations.
